Witt New CEO for NAL Worldwide
NAL Worldwide LLC, a leading provider of third-party supply chain solutions, has announced that Douglas E. Witt has joined the company as president and chief executive officer. Witt will lead a team of approximately 600 employees in 30 locations nationwide delivering innovative logistics programs to a diverse range of customers primarily in the communications, technology, medical, and retail industries.
Ellison Promoted at Schneider
Schneider Logistics, Inc., an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, has promoted Tyler Ellison to vice president and general manager of Schneider Transportation Management.
Panalpina Taps Weyeneth
Panalpina, the Swiss-based transport and logistics group, has appointed Karl Weyeneth as regional chief executive for North America, effective Feb. 1. Weyeneth succeeds Peter Merath, who is retiring after more than 40 years with the company. Previously, Weyeneth served as president and CEO of the Americas for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Inc.
New Position for Shepard at British Airways
British Airways World Cargo has appointed David Shepherd as regional vice-president, commercial, responsible for all commercial activities in both North and South America.
Shepherd has 15 years of experience at British Airways, six with the cargo division. Most recently, he served as region commercial manager for the United Kingdom and Europe. Prior to that he was area manager in Africa.
Norfolk Southern Rail Appoints Mazur
Norfolk Southern announced that Daniel M. Mazur has been appointed vice president of strategic planning. Mazur, who will be based in Norfolk, currently serves as assistant vice president of strategic planning. He will report to Kathryn McQuade, executive vice president of planning and chief information officer.
