Trade officials from Bahrain and the U.S. put their signatures on the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement in mid-September.
Bilateral trade between the two countries reached nearly $900 million last year.
Under the agreement, 100 percent of consumer and industrial products and 81 percent of U.S. agricultural exports will be duty-free.
