The Chinese government has approved plans to construct a free trade zone at Beijing Capital International Airport.
The free trade zone will be situated to the north of the airport, and will comprise a 112,000-square-meter air freight station, a huge express mail service center, and a 170,000-square-meter warehouse as well as an enormous Customs supervised warehouse for imports and exports.
It’s expected that the facility will handle one million tons of cargo by 2015.
