Cendian Corporation announced that it has been approved as a Partner in the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care Program. Cendian joins more than 250 Members and Partners of the American Chemistry Council that promote continuous performance improvement in health, safety, security and environment within their own organizations and throughout the industry. Responsible Care Partners adhere to 119 best management practices as defined under the Responsible Care Program. Cendian was approved as a Partner after completing an extensive on-site review. Responsible Care, launched in 1988, has become the largest safety, health and environmental initiative by an American industry. Under the auspices of the Program, members of the American Chemistry Council and Partners like Cendian follow detailed codes of management practices to integrate safety, health, community involvement and environmental performance into their business operations. Responsible Care is in practice in 46 countries representing over 85% of the world's chemical production.
